What if I can’t watch the ceremony live?
No problem! We’ll post a video here afterwards! Jo can even e-mail it to you!
Why are you eloping?
A wedding? In this economy?!
Honestly — We’re forgoing a traditional wedding to save money. Why? We want to expand our family! We can’t have a child naturally, so we’re saving funds for the expensive road to parenthood ahead! We are excited to be married, but are more excited to be potential parents and want to spend our savings towards that!
Do I still need to send a gift?
Nope! We’ve have been cohabitating for several years and are all geared up!
If you would like to send us a gift towards surrogacy/adoption expenses, that would be lovely and greatly appreciated.
Is this really “eloping”?
Eloping, in its modern context, means forgoing a formal wedding and choosing a more casual, intimate ceremony instead.
